Although it is a long-opened hotel, it is much better than I expected. The facilities are complete and the room is clean. It is a great experience. There is a ski resort just outside the door. The breakfast is also super delicious.

The Lodge needs renovation. My room was like a 3-Star hotel. Stained sheets, damaged walls, broken Peleton. The location can't overcome how run down the Lodge is.

The Lodge at Vail was an excellent experience for my whole family. We enjoyed our stay so much that we will be planning to go back when we get the chance. The whole staff including front desk and valet's were all so friendly and went out of their way to make our stay awesome. Fitness center is great as well.

We had our wedding reception at the Lodge and absolutely love it! 13 years later and we have gone back every year for our anniversary! So many memories and such a great place!

It's very difficult to provide an elevated yet cozy atmosphere. But The Lodge at Vail 100% does that. The staff is welcoming & friendly, offering advice on what to do in Vail. From the valet to cleaning staff, everyone is nice. The interior is a perfect Alpine Lodge feel, with fireplace & comfy seating. The soda stream near the spa is also a nice touch, always thirsty in Colorado. We had 2 rooms there with balconies. Each room was well appointed, spacious & comfortable. Our bathroom was perfect!! The large soaking tub was so nice after a day of hiking. And wrapping ourselves in fluffy bathrobes was heavenly. The balcony was a place we spent having drinks with our friends & it was divine. This is a very intentional & thoughtful place to stay. All the details felt like home.

Just came home from a week long trip around Colorado. One night of our trip was spent in room 420 at the Lodge at Vail. This was the best stay or our trip. The hotel is a little run down and there were renovations happening on our floor, but everything was still so nice. The hotel is right in the center of the village. Our room was cozy and well appointed with a balcony that looked right at the sunset over the mountains. The bed and pillows were super comfortable. The shower pressure was fabulous. The room came with complimentary snacks, water, Celsius flavor packets, coffee and tea. Also had slippers, bathrobes and a refrigerator. Front desk staff and valet were helpful and kind. You could check out board games from the lobby (the lobby itself had checkers and chess to play. The whole vibe was high end and we really enjoyed our stay.

The location, service, and people make this stay wonderful. You can literally walk outside of the lodge and be on the gondola within 2 minutes. The food is absolutely wonderful. The location in the village is perfect with tons of great restaurants, shops, and experiences very nearby.
